Presenting more than 75 works by 25 female artists, Home Makers? is the first Los Angeles exhibition to highlight exclusively women artists in a setting free from the hierarchies that segregate fine arts and craft. Curated by Renae Barnard, this special exhibition connects female artists from diverse communities directly with visitors for one night only.
Operating outside the traditional art market, the exhibition will take place in and around an underground pedestrian tunnel in East Los Angeles and provide 100% of sales directly to the participating artists.
Featuring guest DJ Rebekah Waites + special performance by Jesicca Ceballos of Poesia Para La Gente (Poetry for the People) at 7:30pm.
Event is Saturday, July 12th from 6:00pm – 10:00pm and will include painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, fiber arts, illustration, and jewelry.
Entrance to tunnel is located at:
3400 N. Figueroa Street
Los Angeles, CA 90065
